The John and Annie Glenn Historic Site, housed in John Glenn's boyhood home on Main Street in New Concord, Ohio, recognizes and honors the lives of the Glenns and relates the story of 20th century America through the prism of their lives.

The Glenns lived through, and had their lives shaped by, the Great Depression, World War 2, the Korean Conflict, the Cold War, and the Space Race. The historic site makes their experience live again through a unique "living history" presentation.
Forging Community Spirit and Hometown Values
Heroes such as John and Annie Glenn and their generation were forged by their communities and hometown values. The Glenns devoted their lives to public service. Senator Glenn served more years in the U.S. Senate than any other Ohioan.
Raised in New Concord, Ohio
Senator and Mrs Glenn were both raised in New Concord, Ohio educated in the local school system, and graduated from Muskingum College where they hold special distinguished alumni faculty appointments.

Visitors to the site will learn about the Glenns devotion to one another, to family , and to their country, as well as sacrifices made on the homefront to win WWII and secure freedom. The public is invited to come and learn about these values and more.
