Enjoy Archery Hunting with Baker's Motel
From the first of October till Gun Season at the end of November Baker's Motel brings in the Archery hunters offering great weekly rates that satisfy everyone, in 2008 we have seen many big buck shot with the Bow and Arrow, several customers have shot bucks from 8 to 12 points.
The best hunting of course come in the first weeks of November which is commonly called the Rut in deer hunting where the buck are in force especially in Muskingum and Guernsey county. At Baker's Motel our rooms offer the availability of fridges and microwaves so you can cut the cost of eating out every day, you can even bring your portable grill and set it outside for nightly grill outs which are very common where you can talk with many other deer hunters with some great stories to tell.
Muzzleloading Season
Ohio's Muzzleloading season is also quickly becoming a favorite here in Muskingum County, this starts right after Christmas. Reservations usually start near the end of November for this week after Christmas, some of our patrons opt to use Dick Hall of OBA Outfitters, who is the resident hunting outfitter. Deer hunting with your son or daughter can be the start of a great family tradition even made more enjoyable since at Baker's Motel we will not break the bank and you can enjoy a fun week of hunting. You can build a bond that lasts a lifetime, your kids will have a great time enjoying the great outdoors with either Mom or Dad. Our family rooms offer a large 27 inch television with a room that is roughly 15 x 27 feet in size with 2 beds, fridge and a microwave oven.
